January 2014 - Joined the Wilderness Medicine Society and began 5 year track toward Fellow of Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM)

July 29, 2013 - Third year rotations start

July 7 - Packed up and moved from Radford, VA to Suffolk, VA. Many thanks to the Diehl Family.

July 1 & 3, 2013 - COMLEX I and USMLE I - PASSED on first try!

June 27, 2013 - Fifth Wedding Anniversary!

April 14-15, 2013 - South Eastern Student Wilderness Medicine Conference at Wake Forest

August 6th, 2012 - (only the) Second Year of Medical School Starts

July 2-6, 2013 - Medical Support for Greenbriar PGA Golf Tournament - White Sulfur Springs, WV

June 27, 2012 - Fourth Wedding Anniversary!

June 24-29, 2012 - Medical Mission to Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras with VCOM

June 22, 2012 - First Year of Medical School - Dunzo

August 1, 2011 - First day of medical school at VCOM

July 27, 2011 - Third Wedding Anniversary!

June 6, 2011 - The Navy says no.

May 6, 2011 - Complete Post-Bac Program at VCOM

February 11, 2011 - Interview with EVMS

December 22, 2010 - Accepted to VCOM

October 31-November 7, 2010 - Medical mission to Honduras with VCOM

September 9, 2010 - The MCAT (grand finale) 28M

July 27, 2010 - Second Wedding Anniversary!

July 26, 2010 - First day of "Fall" semester at VCOM Post-Bac.

July 20, 2010 - AACOMAS and AMCAS Submitted.

July 16, 2010 - MCAT - Redux 25N

July 10, 2010 - Moved to Blacksburg, VA to attened VCOM

June 2010 - Accepted to VCOM's Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Med Graduate Certificate Program.

May 2010 - Did not get into medical school

May 25, 2010 - Interview with UVA Pre-Med Advisor, Susan Salko

April 2010 - Applications to Post-Bacc Programs complete

February 27, 2010 - Secondary Apps to PCOM and WVSOM complete.

October 2009 - Met with Navy Medical Officer Recruiter

September 30, 2009 - Submitted Applications to VCOM, PCOM, and WVSOM

September - October 2009 Shadowing with Dr Stephen Restaino - The man who told me to get a plan.

August 2009 - Microbiology at TCC

July 27, 2009 - First Wedding Anniversary!

July 2009 - Begin Volunteering at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital

June 2009 - I can't call this bragging but 26-O

January 2008 - Jordanna Perlman D.O. demonstrates a much finer reality in medicine - hope is restored

August 2007 - Organic Chem and Bio Chem at PVCC Thanks to Dr Heyl / I first become fully aware of Osteopathic Medicine thanks to my Aunt Clare D.C.

January 2007 - Move to Charlottesville / Esther inspires me to face my fears.

2006 - I did not go to school for massage or oriental medicine / start dating my future wife

2005 - BA in Religious Studies from UVA Thanks to inspiration from Cynthia Hoehler-Fatton and guidance from Frank Papovich / Move to Portland

2004 - My sister gets sick - completely disillusioned with the medical profession - all hope is lost

2002 - AA&S (science/premed) Inspired by Human A&P thanks to Ramon Selove /Accepted to UVA / Move to Charlottesville

2000 - Graduated High School - Thanks to my Parents (Home Schooled)

1999 - Enrolled at LFCC

1995 - Chiropractic treatment- it works, Thanks to Dr Darci Schramm-Mull. This is when I knew I wanted to be a doctor.
