This one time in med school
We had a clinical medicine lecture on facial lacerations. And then the next day I was lacerated by a softball. 11 stitches. Three dissolving subcutaneous and eight 6.0 simple interrupted.
Grateful to my support team/compadres who stayed with me the whole time (and wished they were doing the stitches themselves): Nikki and Danny.
