What do people die from?

So if you follow this link:

World Health Organization.

You can look at what people have died from in several countries for the last several years. It's amazing some of the differences between developing (think diseases from not having clear water/adequate sanitation) and what ever it is that we call the countries that are living off of checks that they can't cash (Heart disease, Cancer, Diabetes)

Other things that just surprise me in the numbers - the rate of accidental death

Men are twice as likely to die in a traffic accident than women.
Men are FOUR times more likely to be murdered or commit suicide.

Chances of accidental poisoning drops off significantly after age 65. You would think people would learn what not to put in their mouth a little before that. But no, the peak is at 45-54 years.
